Position Overview
I. Position Description, Duties and Expectations
A. Position Title: Technical Service and Store Sales Coordinator
B. Location/Territory: Little Rock, AR

C. Key Job Duties – Following is an overview of the key job duties required. This list is not all-inclusive, as position scope may evolve through time, and other related tasks, responsibilities and duties may be required.
• Perform bench technician work (testing, diagnostics, repair, calibration, upgrading, cleaning), following standard procedures to provide high-quality service in line with customer expectations and company service and revenue goals. [This requires becoming factory-trained on construction technologies in order to provide excellent service and support.]
• Be able to demonstrate and describe the functions and features of the core products and supplies in the store in order to counsel customers on the best solutions for their businesses.
• Work with SITECH sales, service and support specialists, and Trimble personnel as warranted for purposes of service, support, sales development and customer relationship management
• Provide stellar service to regional walk-in and telephone customers, with a focus on building
relationships, recommending products, preparing orders, and processing payments.
• Provide support and/or troubleshooting on the phone, in the store and via e-mail. Answer questions, resolve issues and facilitate high customer satisfaction, involving the appropriate SITECH and/or Trimble people as circumstances may warrant.
• Maintain accountability for general administrative and support processes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure the cleanliness, safety and security of the local store and service center. Communicate with Management regarding any significant issues with facilities, vehicles and other assets and equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.

D. General Expectations
• This is an Exempt (Salaried) position, with typical hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern, excluding company holidays and approved days off. It also may be necessary at times for Employee to work hours outside the typical work week, including occasional overnight travel for training and/or company meetings.
• The most desirable candidate is a person of character, integrity and ethics. Must be a dependable, motivated self-starter with a solid work ethic, positive attitude and service orientation.
• Ability to successfully complete factory-sponsored technical courses and programs, online classes and tutorials, and other such educational opportunities to enhance technical knowledge and professional development.
• Strong mechanical/technical aptitude, with the propensity and desire to learn new technologies and become knowledgeable with machine control-related products.
• Requires a minimum of two-year degree in Electronics Technology, Construction Technology,
Surveying Technology or related field of study. Relevant experience and training may be
substituted for the education.
• Requires a person who can successfully complete designated training courses & development
programs, including product & application training, software training, professional skills, and
personal development.
• Must be able to act with empathy for our Customers, understanding their needs and responding in a manner that meets or exceeds their expectations and serves their best interests.
• Requires outstanding verbal / written communications skills and listening ability to deal effectively with customers, fellow associates and suppliers face-to-face, on the phone, and via e-mail. The products we market and support are technical in nature, but this requires a person who can build relationships with customers, earn trust and confidence and help develop and support new business.
• Must have strong organizational & time management skills, with ability to effectively prioritize
multiple tasks.
• PC skills in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer. Will be required to learn company’s computer systems, software applications and reporting processes
• Position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Must read, understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Travel will be necessary on a periodic basis. Much of the travel will be day trips, but overnight
travel will be required as warranted for company meetings, customer visits, etc.
II. Compensation and Benefits
• Compensation – This position is compensated with a salary, exempt structure. The beginning
base salary will be set between $25,000 and $35,000 per year based upon the candidate’s
qualifications. Note that compensation plans are subject to periodic review and potential refinement to ensure ongoing alignment with business objectives, customer needs and employee development goals.

B. Benefits – Benefits are outlined comprehensively in the SITECH Company Policy Manual. A summary of some key items is provided as follows:
• Health and Dental Insurance plans are currently offered through Anthem BCBS. Company and
Employee split the cost of the Employee’s premium(s), and Employee assumes the cost of adding dependents, if needed. Cost is predetermined by Employee age, gender and dependent status according to the rate schedule established by the insurance provider. The Employee’s portion of the premium is deducted from his/her paycheck on a pre-tax basis to further reduce the out-of pocket cost to the Employee. The company may change this program in the near future in an effort to provide a more competitive insurance package.
• Paid Time Off - Regular, full-time employees will be granted PTO in recognition of their length of service, to be used while the employee is in the employ of the Company. PTO is tracked every
pay period. You are eligible to accrue PTO at 3.69 hours per pay period (12 days per year).
Based upon tenure, the number of eligible days off per year increases according to the schedule
established in the Company Policy Manual. (Note: Paid Time Off encompasses vacation days, sick
days and personal days, and is used in half-day increments.)
• Holidays – The Company observes designated holidays each year, including New Year’s Day,
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving,
Christmas Day and a variable day around Christmas depending upon the day of the week upon
which Christmas falls.
• 401(k) plan is available to eligible Employees after six months of employment. The Company
matches the Employee contributions at predefined percentages. Currently, the Company matches 50 cents to every dollar, up to 10% of your compensation. Employee and Company contributions are subject to applicable IRS rules and regulations.
• Expenses will be paid by the company for company-approved purposes that comply with all
company policies, procedures and travel / purchasing guidelines. Employee may be responsible
for reimbursement of expenses that are unapproved or not within company policies and guidelines.
• Vehicle will be based at the Louisville office to be used for company use as directed by your
supervisor. This vehicle is a hub vehicle and is to be parked at the office every evening.
• Electronic Resources: Employee will be provided with the use of a company cell phone and laptop PC during field service calls only. These assets are to be used and maintained in accordance with company guidelines and policies, and in compliance with any applicable licensing or copyright laws.
