Wyndham Fairfield Bay is an RCI Gold Crown Resort (the best) and Red Weeks have the most value. The unit week is 17--the week that spans the end of April and beginning of May when Spring is in full bloom and kids are still in school--but the week can be exchanged for whatever week suits your schedule best. Optional RCI membership allows you to trade it for vacations or cruises worldwide.
The week is deeded and fully paid for, so the purchase is simply a matter of transfer of title. My mother and her husband have been using it since my husband and I moved across the country, but they are no longer able to do so. I would like to find a new owner who can enjoy the week and take over the annual maintenance fee. Your purchase costs would be only the $10 purchase amount + a $299 transfer fee charged by Wyndham. The annual maintenance fee ($606) is paid through the end of 2011 but becomes due on January 1, 2012. I will pay the $500 escrow, title and closing fee.
RCI membership for this week is currently paid through February 2012 and the 2011 week is banked and ready to use so you get to take advantage of this year's week without having to pay this year's maintenance! If you plan to exchange a week in 2012, I will pay to extend your RCI membership to February 2013 (an $89 value).
